Behind the scenes: Recently, the college students of Fairgreen Presbyterian were surprised with care packages right before Finals Week at their respective colleges. With the spirit-filled organization and loving hands' work of Mission Committee and the Youth and Spiritual Development Committee, and with additional support of the Deacons, the students received packages in the mail filled with an Advent Devotional, gum, chocolate, cocoa, Play-Doh, bouncy balls, finger puppets, and other assorted treats to help them weather the stress of exams at the beginning of last December. We heard such responses as, "Oh, this makes my day!" and "I loved the little finger puppet," and "This was such a cool thing to receive!" Thank you, congregation, for your prayerful support of our adults and young adults in college!
