While we are on the subject of the food pantry and the Christmas Baskets...We want to THANK everyone who has been donating money and food items. I am always amazed how gracious my Fairgreen family is. I know that if you’ve been to a New Beginning Cottage Meeting, you have been asked the question, ―What is Fairgreen good at?‖ Maybe the question should be ―What at Fairgreen is good?‖ Well I know the answer to that is YOU, the people and it is an honor to be a part of this congregation.

Fill The Bag
The Deacons are going to have a "fill the bag" event. On the following Sundays: October 30th, November 6th and 7th we will have bags in the narthex that can be filled with items that will be needed for the Holiday season. We are not sure what will be needed at this time but a list of food items will be coming. Also if you do not want to shop we have ―shoppers‖ that will do the shopping for you.
Harvest Tea
The Board of Deacons invites you to their Harvest Tea on Saturday, October 29th at the church from 2—4 pm. Our theme: Dressing Our Beds for Winter!” If you have never been to a bed dressing before you won’t want to miss this so save the date and invite your friends. Both Dick Schroeder and Rev. Pat will use this unique process to display their collection of quilts. If you are interested in dressing a table for the tea (hosting a table) please contact Gina Beauregard or the church office. The cost per ticket is $5.00. A sign up sheet for table hosts and to bring goodies is at the Welcome Center.
